Jason
- Hired by MicroLink in October 2010; Bridgeborn did their best to retain me - but their contracts kept expiring. God is faithful!
- Did ultimately finish the NanoWrimo, though it has yet to be fully edited 1.5 years later.
- Is in the midst of learning SharePoint, Azure, more pHp, and HTML 5.0
- Took and failed a cert exam (70-542) and intends to pass two this year (70-667/8)
- Actively surviving an infection; was originally a boil and has slowly been healing.
Ruth
- Started writing and finished her epilogue in about four hours in Nov 2009.
- Had a car accident last year - lost the car but Ruth was unscratched.
- In the latter 8 months of 2010, lost 115 lbs; currently about 36 lbs from her goal.
- Got hired as a Financial Advisor, a Home School Teacher, and a spokesperson.
- Has a half-Iron Man coming up this Saturday
Peter
- Talks in nearly complete sentences.
- Walks, runs, jumps-in-place.
- When he thinks nobody is paying attention, sings to himself.
- Sometimes prays.
- Loves his brother - those is sometimes not considerate of him.
Michael
- Talks - but everything sounds like "da" to Jason.
- Walks, barely runs, any jumping-in-place don't really leave the ground
- Loves and adores his brother
- Loves dogs
- Is almost as large as Peter - though over a year younger.
Other
- House has gone through various changes
- Screen-in porch is much the same as it was last post
- Tile put down (Ruth), wired (Ruth's dad), and Blinds up (Ruth)
- Still needs a few tweaks, an inspection, a paint job
- Kitchen now has floating table island, 1/4 less walls, and new tile
- One of the bathroom doors now lacks a door handle
- Butcher block board split in two
- Floating table island back fell off, now nailed
- Several Christmas' ago, Jason was given a keyboard by his brother
- Jason gave it away to Dee (biological father)
- Went to a Joshua Bell concert to see Ruth's brother perform
- Bell is amazing
- Dad's parent's 60th anniversary is a Thursday in July
- praying about whether to go that weekend, that Thursday, or whatever
- Jason running low on days off
- Dee has visited about three or four times in the last 1.5 years
- Always interesting
- Still praying about whether to go to the reunion - happens week before Convention
